In this study, a novel method for detecting patterns of co-occurring mutations beyond strain-specific / strain-defining ones on SARS-CoV-2 data is presented. Utilizing this method, assessing SARS-CoV-2 evolution through the analysis of emerging mutations could be potentially possible.
