Research

Since the early 2000’s, genetics research has identified many single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) associated with various disorders. However, translating this information into better clinical practices or novel pharmaceutical interventions has remained a challenge. During my PhD, my work will focus on comparing an developing tools for drug repurposing and exploring methods that use genetic associations discovered from GWAS for the better personalization of medicine.
