Imaging Genetics

image

CTGlab combines brain imaging and genetics to understand how genetic variation in genes or pathways influences cognitive and psychiatric phenotypes by altering brain structure or function.

We use GWAS, gene-based and genetic pathway analysis in combination with whole brain structures or voxel based MRI and DTI measures. Our current imaging genetics projects include ADHD patients and controls (in collaboration with the Generation-R study at the Erasmus University Rotterdam), schizophrenia patients and controls (in collaboration with the MIND study initiative and the Erasmus University Rotterdam) and healthy individuals (in collaboration with the Spinoza Centre Amsterdam).
